Read maps, guide books, listen to local music, find online reviews, learn the language and talk to others who have visited the area. Just because it’s listed as all inclusive, doesn’t mean things like taxes, alcohol, food/snacks, travel expenses or entrance fees or transfers are included. * Ask for references from other travelers to South America. * What are the refund, booking, cancellation and pre-payment policies?
